About Me
Hi I'm Chris from Central PA! My husband and I have been homeschooled our 3 children for 20 years. They are now in college. We loved the homeschool lifestyle of setting our own schedules and pursuing hobbies. We enjoy pets, going to Hersheypark, vacationing as a family, homeschool orchestra, art, and cooking. I am hoping my experience can be used to benefit others, and I look forward to helping you with your homeschool journey!
Our homeschool story
Hi! Welcome to my webpage! My husband Joe and I started homeschooling in 2007 when our oldest daughter was 3. We had met some homeschooling famlies and noticed how happy the children seemed to be. We believed God was leading us to homeschool. We wanted our children to be educated from a Christian perspective. When our second child turned 3, we began wondering about how to choose a curriculum that would be academically strong for our children all through high school. I needed something that was planned out for me by grade, so I was certain about them not missing any basic skills. Lastly, I was looking for something that would make homeschooling easier for me, without having to do a lot of planning. A friend told us about BJU Press Homeschool Video Courses, and I knew right away that it was perfect for our family’s needs.
Our family homeschooled for 20 years using BJU Press Homeschool Video Courses and some parent led. We have 3 children, 22, 20, and 19. All three received academic scholarships to a local Christian university and they continue to excel, thanks to BJU Press Homeschool.
