I found out what homeschooling was through helping a friend who was homeschooling her children using BJU Press Homeschool materials.
We started our homeschool journey 23 years ago. We have 5 children (four daughters and a son). Homeschooling wasn’t always easy, and we were mindful of God’s grace for each day. Each child was so different and had different needs. Our goal was to give them the "tools" they needed to do whatever God called them to do. Hebrews 4:16 was our theme verse. Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. So many people were such an encouraged to us along our homeschool journey. Now, my heart is to give back to homeschooling families and share with them what God has taught us. BJU Press Homeschool is a huge part of that, and we love the Biblical perspective and solid foundation that our children have received from this curriculum. As you are starting or are on your own homeschool journey, I am happy to talk with you about how to get started and to explore the different options available through BJU Press Homeschool. if you want help teaching different subjects, we offer video lessons which can be purchased 2 ways:
(1) Video Lessons on DVDs
The DVD option is a lease program, so you return the DVDs after 13 months. If you order from me, your lease won't end until July 15, 2023 or 13 months after you order whichever is longer.
