About Me

Welcome! One of my favorite parts of homeschooling is getting to know other families and hearing their stories. Here's a little of ours.

My husband, Ben, and I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where we homeschool our two boys. We love learning together, exploring new places, and making memories through everyday adventures. Whether we're visiting a museum, enjoying a family trip, or gathered around the kitchen table, we believe some of life's best lessons happen outside the textbook.

My passion for education began long before we started homeschooling. Before homeschooling our own boys, I had the opportunity to teach in both higher education and a Christian school. Those experiences, combined with years of homeschooling, have shaped the way I encourage and support other families today. I never imagined that one day my favorite classroom would be our homeschool, but it has become one of life's greatest blessings.

Our family's motto is "Learning is Life's Greatest Adventure." I believe education happens through great books, meaningful conversations, hands-on experiences, field trips, and the everyday moments that help children grow in knowledge, confidence, and character.
