About Me
I have homeschooled both of my daughters from k-12. When we first started homeschooling, we used a variety of materials as everyone was telling me, "You do not want to use BJU Press Homeschool since it's a "Big Box Curriculum!" Boy, do I wish that I had listened to my heart instead of all the other voices out there filling my head. When we finally switched to BJU Press Homeschool, we used the video courses. My children thrived with video lessons and their wonderful teachers. I wish I could have started all over again with just BJU Press Homeschool, but maybe with my grandchildren when they are ready. But for now, I have moved into teaching 6th-12th grade math at my local Christian School. I love it. We are using BJU Press math curriculum exclusively since I get to recommend the texts we use. It is exciting to see how all of the upper math classes flow into each other. When school is out for summer break, I travel throughout the state setting up "Curriculum Displays" and HomeWorks Events to share with other homeschoolers what I love about this curriculum and how it can help them to educate their children.
