About Me

I grew up in Western Massachusetts in a loving family.  I am the youngest of three girls.  I came South for college and am thankful for the education I received at Emory University.  After more than a year on the mission field, I settled back in Atlanta and then moved to NC in 2002.  I love following God on this crazy journey of life and am grateful for how He leads and provides each day.  I also enjoy singing, photography, swmming, exercising, nutrition, and finding joy in the simple things.

Hello!!!
My name is Leigh Weathers.  I grew up in Western Massachusetts and moved to Georgia to attend Emory University where I majored in Spanish and Religion.  After graduation, I went to Mexico and Honduras for a year of mission work.  I have been in the Charlotte area since 2002.
I worked in adoption and foster care for 10 years and now homeschool our children, serve the homeschool community as a homeworks consultant, and help others improve their health and nutrition.
I have four children aged 15 through 22 and have used BJU Press Homeschool throughout their schooling.  My oldest is a senior at Liberty University. My second works full time as an electrician and loves it! I began integrating Video Courses when my oldest was in 4th grade and have loved the amazing quality of the teaching as well as the flexibility and thorough education it provides.
