My name is Leigh Weathers.  I grew up in Western Massachusetts and moved to Georgia to attend Emory University where I majored in Spanish and Religion.  After graduation, I went to Mexico and Honduras for a year of mission work.  I have been in the Charlotte area since 2002.

I worked in adoption and foster care for 10 years and now homeschool my youngest, serve the homeschool community as a homeworks consultant, and help others improve their health and nutrition.

I have four children aged 18 through 25 and have used BJU Press Homeschool throughout their schooling.  My oldest went to Liberty University and is now married and has my first grandchild!! My second is married and works full time as an electrician and loves it! My third has worked at a couple of local farms and now works as a plumber. My youngest is doing dual enrollment and is headed to Montreat College in the fall of 2026.
I began integrating Video Courses when my oldest was in 4th grade and have loved the amazing quality of the teaching as well as the flexibility and thorough education it provides.
