About Me

I am a wife and mommy of four little ones! My husband Matthew and I, along with our siblings, were all homeschooled with the BJU Press Homeschool curriculum. We had planned to homeschool our own children with BJU Press Homeschool from the time our first child was born and were very excited to be able to start her in school in 2022. I graduated from nursing school in 2017, one month before our first child was born. I enjoyed helping others as a nurse. However, my heart's desire was to be home with my children. With the full support of my amazing husband, I have been able to fulfill the desire of being a stay-at-home mom. In my spare time, I enjoy sewing and getting together with friends and family. Our children especially love to go fishing at Nana and Papa's house. Although our homeschool journey as parents is just getting started, I do remember my years as a student with BJU Press Homeschool and find it exciting to be able to share my experience from two different perspectives. Homeschooling is a crazy exciting experience, and I cannot wait to share with you and help you along your own journey!
