    [aboutme] => My name is Sharon Huizinga. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Tom, for 13 years. We have four amazing children ages 9, 7, 4 and 1.  We currently have a 4th grader, a 2nd grader, and a preschooler all using BJU Press Homeschool Distance Learning and parent-led materials. We love using BJU Press Homeschool materials and are confident in the education our children are receiving. Distance Learning is a huge blessing! 

 


I am an educator, I have been teaching in one way or another for about 18 years. I've taught from preschool up to 5th grade, I taught 2nd, 4th and 5th grades in Christian schools. 


 


I have a unique perspective on the differences between BJU Press Homeschool and another popular homeschool curriculum. I've also taught music from birth through 8-year-olds. I am looking forward to serving the homeschool community in and around West Michigan, and building relationships with you over the years.
