Who Will Be Speaking?

Throughout the party you will hear from HomeWorks consultants, all of whom are experienced homeschool moms! You will also get the chance to hear from some of your favorite BJU Press Video Course Teachers, and some of the authors of the curriculum!

Heidi St. John - As a popular author and speaker, Heidi St. John has been speaking on marriage, family and cultural issues for over 15 years. Her passion to encourage moms and set them free to boldly become who God has created them to be will challenge and encourage you. Heidi and her husband Jay reside just outside of beautiful Vancouver, Washington, where they have homeschooled some of their kids all the way through high school and are still finishing up with a few at home.
Zan Tyler - We will also be joined by a special guest speaker - Zan Tyler! Zan has helped to pioneer the way for homeschoolers since God called her in the mid 80's. When she speaks, she encourages fellow homeschool families and shares her passion for teaching children with a biblical worldview to help build God's kingdom.
Nancy Manos - Nancy Manos and her husband, James, homeschooled their two daughters all the way through high school. The Manos’ home education journey was a rich, rewarding, sometimes-challenging experience, and Nancy is passionate about encouraging others in the homeschool adventure. Nancy and James served together on the board of directors for Arizona Families for Home Education (AFHE) for 13 years and Nancy continues serving the Arizona homeschool community as the Executive Director of AFHE.
Faith Berens - Faith joined the HSLDA team of special needs consultants in 2008 and homeschools her children. She also works as a private educational consultant and evaluator. Faith holds a master’s degree in reading from Shenandoah University. She has over 20 years of teaching experience that includes serving as a classroom teacher in public and private Christian schools, Reading Recovery® teacher, reading specialist, trained NILD and Equipping Minds educational therapist, home educator, co-op instructor, and tutor.
